Thor motor coach (tmc) is recalling certain 2017 challenger, miramar, and outlaw motorhomes. The external compartment outer door skin may separate from the motorhome during transit. dealers will inspect the compartment door skin and replace the door as necessary, free of charge. Recall 130094 [USA]: If the windshield roller shade unrolls while driving, it could block the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Thor motor coach (tmc) is recalling certain 2017-2019 thor challenger, miramar, and outlaw motorhomes. The motorized windshield roller shade at the driver's seating position may unroll without warning while driving. tmc will notify owners, and dealers will install a fastener to ensure the motor will not allow the shade to roll down during while driving. Recall 131284 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Thor motor coach (thor) is recalling various 2003-2018 recreational vehicles, equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. The affected vehicles have rear cargo door hinges with welds that may be inadequate for securing the hinge pin to the hinge plate. tmc will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the hinge weld thickness, replacing the hinge as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on february 6, 2017. Recall 116455 [USA]: An operator that smokes near the fuel fill station with flammable vapors present can increase the risk of a fire.
Thor motor coach (tmc) is recalling certain model year 2017 outlaw motorhomes manufactured january 15, 2016, to june 24, 2016. The affected vehicles are missing a warning label near the fuel fill station. This label warns operators not to smoke while in the presence of flammable vapors. tmc will notify owners, and dealers will install the warning label, free of charge. Recall 2021664 [Canada]: Structure
Issue: on certain motorhomes, the exterior compartment doors might not be properly attached. As a result, the outer panels of the compartment doors could detach from the motorhome. Safety risk: a door panel that detaches from the motorhome could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people. Corrective actions: thor motor coach will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for inspecting, and if necessary, replacing the exterior compartment door panels.
Recall 2018630 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain motorhomes, the motorized windshield shade on the driver's side could lower itself without warning while the vehicle is in motion. This could obstruct the driver's view, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will repair the motorized windshield shade.

On certain motorhomes equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly. Recall 2017037 [Canada]: Structure
On certain motorhomes, the hinge assemblies of the rear cargo door may have been manufactured incorrectly. The weld on the hinge assembly had been ground down during manufacturing to ensure clearance when installed on a door. The grinding of the weld weakened the joint and, as a result, if the door were to be opened and the hinge assembly were to fail, the door could come down with more force than normal, increasing the risk of injury to a person standing nearby. Correction: dealers will inspect the hinge assembly and replace as necessary.

The electrical jacks are located under the kitchen sink waste line. When the waste line becomes separated due to traveling vibrations it allows water to seep into the jacks which caused a short and fire. The vehicle was parked and hooked up to water and electric. The microwave was in use. *tt
