The output line on the lpg tanks may not connect properly to the service valve, which can cause a propane leak. dealers will inspect and replace the service valves, as necessary, free of charge. Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 allegro breeze, allegro red, allegro, allegro bus, phaeton, and 2018-2021 zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages." dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts as necessary, free of charge. A fuel leak may occur from the fuel hose between the fuel pump and remote filter head. dealers will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed september 10, 2021. Recall 2022058 [Canada]: Electrical
Issue: on certain motorhomes, the nuts on the bus bar in the dc power distribution panel may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bus bar could overheat and melt other parts. Safety risk: an overheated or melted electrical panel could create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and tighten the nuts on the dc power distribution panel. On motorhomes with the optional larger 2000 w inverter, the dealer will also remove the bus bar from the dc power distribution panel, and replace it with a cable.
Recall 2021541 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
Issue: on certain motorhomes, the seat belts on the sofas may not be properly installed. As a result, the seat belts may not work as designed in a crash. Safety risk: a seat belt that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and repair the seat belts on the sofas, as necessary.
