• Recall 236555 [USA]: An electrical shock can increase the risk of injury.
  Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2016-2024 allegro bus, and 2017-2024 zephyr motorhomes. The 240-volt induction cooktop may not be grounded, which can create an electrical shock hazard if the wires short-circuit.

  Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2020-2023 breeze motorhomes. The condensation pan under the refrigerator may overflow and leak into the molex electrical connections on the floor.

• Recall 212883 [USA]: Unsecured passengers have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
  Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 allegro breeze, allegro red, allegro, allegro bus, phaeton, and 2018-2021 zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages."

• Recall 156464 [USA]: If the tire is rubbed repeatedly, the tire may suddenly deflate, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2019-2020 allegro open road motorhomes equipped with liquid spring suspension systems. A hydraulic suspension hose may be routed incorrectly, resulting in contact between the hose and the inside rear tire.
  tiffin will notify owners, and dealers inspect the position of the hydraulic hoses. If found to be incorrect, the clamp position will be corrected and the hydraulic hoses and tires inspected for any damage. Damaged components will be replaced as necessary. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began august 23, 2019. Owners may contact tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is tif-112.

• Recall 2021265 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  Issue: on certain motorhomes, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: this recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a cummins l9 diesel engine. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

  Issue: on certain motorhomes, the windshield wipers may not work due to incorrect wiring. Safety risk: windshield wipers that do not work could affect a driver's visibility. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and correct the wiring for the windshield wipers.

  Issue: on certain motorhomes, the nuts on the bus bar in the dc power distribution panel may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bus bar could overheat and melt other parts. Safety risk: an overheated or melted electrical panel could create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and tighten the nuts on the dc power distribution panel. On motorhomes with the optional larger 2000 w inverter, the dealer will also remove the bus bar from the dc power distribution panel, and replace it with a cable.

• Recall 2019394 [Canada]: Suspension
  Issue: on one motorhome equipped with the liquid spring suspension system, the hydraulic hoses for the suspension may be clamped in the wrong position. As a result, a hose could rub against the rear tire on either side of the motorhome. This may result in damage to the tire(s) and/or hydraulic hose(s). Safety risk: a tire failure could increase the risk of a loss of control, and may result in a crash. Corrective actions: the only affected motorhome was inspected and repaired by a dealership before it was sold.

  Issue: on a small number of motorhomes, the patio awning wasn't installed properly. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the motorhome. Note: this recall only affects certain allegro red 360 motorhomes with a 37pa floor plan. Safety risk: an awning that falls from the motorhome could create a risk of injury. An awning that detaches from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, attach the awning to the motorhome properly.

  Issue: certain motorhomes built on a freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted power distribution module (pdm). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: this recall replaces fl-856 (transport canada recall 2020-421). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety risk: brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

  Issue: on certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: this recall replaces fl-861 (transport canada recall 2020-516). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety risk: a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.   This recall was replaced by transport canada recall no. 2021-749. Issue: on certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Safety risk: a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a daimler trucks north america (dtna) authorized service facility to inspect and adjust the inner wheel valve stem stabilizers, as needed. The inner valve stems will be replaced, if required.

Drove my brand new tiffin 2020 allegro red from the dealer in louisiana to my home in ohio. The windshield wipers quit working in the midst of a heavy rain storm forcing me to pull off the road until the weather subsided. The wiper motor felt hot. After finally getting home, tiffin indicated that this was a known problem and sent me a bulletin that was issued in the summer of 2019 explaining how to rewire the motor from battery power to ignition power. I took the rv to a local tiffin dealer and was told that my rv had to be repaired by a freightliner dealer, since they made the chassis. Took the rv to a freightliner dealer in a nearby town and they said that it had to be repaired by a tiffin dealer. Here i am with a new rv in the middle of prime time camping season and i cannot drive my rv anywhere in the event of a severe weather and pounding rain. Trying to drive the rv in heavy rain is a terrifying experience, especially when being passed by commercial trucks that blind you with splash. This is a major safety issue which is not being addressed by tiffin.*dt*dt consumer stated blinker indicators did not work from the beginning.*jb*jb *tr
