While traveling home from work i went to use the brakes, there were no brakes as the pedal went to the floor. Upon inspection of the vehicle i found a metal brake line on the passenger side engine compartment was assembled so as it made direct contact with the metal fuel pressure return line. The two lines subsequently wore a groove in each other with the brake line wearing through thus letting all the applied braking pressure to escape from the worn hole in the line. I was an ase certiified auto technician for many years in my life and it is my professional diagnosis that the vehicle was assembled this way from the factory. The fuel pressure return line shows severe wear and could prove to be a fire hazard if it ruptures. *ak

When the vehicle came to a final rest, then is when my seat belt popped (unlatched). I did not injury my body. However, i do not feel confortable knowing that my belt did not hold me.
