Static Fill Coolant Pipe
LEU, MRU
Cummins ISL-G
PI0790, Static Fill Coolant Pipe
(June 2012)
The static fill coolant pipe from the expansion tank can make contact with the starter solenoid
wire and rub through the wire insulation on some MACK LEU and MRU trucks equipped
with a Cummins ISL-G natural gas engine. A spacer (part number 25106640), fastener (part
number 995455), and nut (part number 990939) will be used to relocate the static fill pipe
away from the starter solenoid wire. Additionally, if any starter solenoid wires are exposed,
the starter must be replaced with a new starter (part number 21398109).
Note: This bulletin does not apply to MACK Trucks Australia.
