Background
Beginning in April, a standoff was added to the reservoir mounting bolt on T300's with hydraulic brakes. The brake supplier does not approve the use of
the reservoir mounting bolt to mount a bracket.
Procedure
Identify if the hydraulic brake chassis has a standoff bracket attached to the brake fluid reservoir mounting bolt.
Remove the reservoir mounting bolt that attaches the standoff bracket to the master cylinder. Be careful not to hit the nearby plastic
Pressure Differential Switch as it can be damaged by wrench contact.
3. Remove the standoff bracket assembly.
4. Reinstall the reservoir mounting bolt and torque the bolt to 37.3 ± 3.4 Nm (27.5 ± 2.5 ft-lbs).
5. Resecure the bundle that was attached to the standoff bracket with part number DCT11.
