This Campaign details the process which must be carried out to check and confirm that no labels are evident on the inner face of the cover. Remedy This Campaign must be carried out on all New Continental GT and GTC vehicles within the affected VIN range to ensure there are no labels attach ed to the ACC radar sensor cover Customer notification Customers do not need to be informed directly of this campaign . Please ensure that all affected vehicles are repaired during a service visit. This Campaign details the process which must be carried out to check and confirm that no labels are evident on the inner face of the cover. Check If the vehicle is not already listed as repaired in the "Repair history" (in Elsa Pro), check the vehicle for the Campaign identification mark, which is a Blue paint mark on the left hand brake master cylinder bolt (Figure 4) should neither be evident please carry out the required work in accordance with the instructions . E780/3 Campaig n number E780 Genuine parts Not applicable Work 1.Remove the front centre grille, please refer to the following guidelines - Ensure the area around the bumper grille is clean to avoid damage/scratches during grille removal - Wear protective gloves - Apply masking tape to prevent damage to the bumper moulding when removing the grille - Work from the outside carefully pull the grille forward away from the bumper moulding - Store the grille safely to avoid damage - Check to see if the radar sensor cover is as shown in Figure 2, If the cover is not as shown and there are label/s evident go to procedure 2 Figure 2 - Refit the centre grille NOTE: Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, please take note of the following Do not hit the grille when refitting as this could cause radar misalignment E780/4 Campaign number E780 Important! ThtS cou ld caoH radar •lH,.ahgnmenl i II - Ensure that the grilles are fully clipped in around the outside aperture - place a Blue confirmation mark on the left hand brake master cylinder bolt (Figure 4) 2.
