Description: This bulletin describes the procedure for the programming/teaching and operation of
Equus Smart Key Cards and Conventional Smart Keys .
*NOTE
Once the 1st key is programmed, the customer's 2nd and 3rd keys must be
programmed at the same time or they will not start the vehicle.
*NOTE
Before attempting the key programming procedure, call Techline to obtain the
6 digit PIC pin code. Techline phone number: 800-325-6604.

Smart Key Card/Conventional Smart Key Programming Procedure:
*NOTE
Before proceeding, have all 3 Smart Keys ready and the 6 digit PIC pin code
obtained from Techline. Techline phone number: 800-325-6604.

Connect the DLC cable of the VCI to the
data link connector located under the left
side of dash.
2.
From the System Screen , select "PIC" and
click "OK"

Have all 3 Smart Keys ready and click "OK".
7.
Click "OK" and within 5 seconds use the
first Smart Key to press and hold the Start
Stop button. Keep the button pressed in fully
for one or two seconds , then release .

When teaching the Smart Key Card , use the
upper left corner of the card to press the
Start Stop button. It may be marked with red
tape.
