IMPORTANT NOTES ON PARTS CHANGES:
1) Previous design power steering pump assembly and power steering hose assembly service
parts have been discontinued.
2) Both previous and new design suction hoses are available as service parts.
3) Previous and new design power steering pump assemblies , power steering hose assemblies and
suction hoses are not interchangeable.
4) If rep lacing either the previous design power steering pump assembly or power steering hose
assembly with a new design part, the 3 previous design parts described in this bulletin must
be simultaneously replaced with new design parts as a set.
a) Connect the pressure switch of the new design power steering pump assembly to the engine
wi ring connector whe re the pressu re switch of previous des ign power steering hose assembly
wa s connected .
