Issue Description:
After updating to Database 47, the current production UltraShift® PLUS ECU software
5569906 is no longer available in the Product Programming function of
ServiceRanger; no new software is displayed.
Containment/Corrective Action:
The transmission ECU software can be viewed and downloaded using the "ECU
Recovery" programming method as outlined in the Field Strategy below. The software
fix will be implemented in the November Database 48 release .
Affected Models/Population: ServiceRanger Database 47
Field Strategy:
1. Key on.
2. Start ServiceRanger and connect to the vehicle.
3. Go to Product Programming
4. Select Actions> ECU Recovery from the menu bar.
5. Acknowledge the warning statement.
