Cause: Th his may be ca aused by the fueling calibra ation not bein ng robust for a winter blend d 10% ethano ol fuel. Action: In n the event of a customer concern c of the e above, referr to the Repair Procedure outlined below to update the e Engine Conttrol Module (E ECM) softwarre. CAUTION N: A Jaguarr-approved Midtronics M Ve ehicle Powerr Supply mus st be connec cted to the ve ehicle battery during IDS dia agnosis / mo odule progra amming. 1 1. Connect the t Jaguar-ap pproved Midtrronics Vehicle e Power Supp ply to the vehiicle battery. 2 2. Turn ignition 'ON' (engine not runnin ng). 3 3. 4 4. 5 5. 6 6. NOTE: ID DS must be loaded with DVD131.01 D v.114 v or laterr. Connect the t IDS to the e vehicle and begin a new Symptom Driiven Diagnosttics (SDD) se ession. Follow the e on-screen prompts, p allow wing SDD to read r the VIN a and identify th he vehicle. From the Session Type e selection sc creen, choose e 'Diagnosis'. Select the e 'Selected Sy ymptoms' tab, and then select one of th he following: Powerrtrain > Engine system > Engine perform mance > Engiine cuts out – when hot orr Powerrtrain > Engine system > Engine perform mance > Engiine judders an nd shakes – w when hot 7 7. Select 'co ontinue'. 8 8. Select the e 'Recommen ndations' tab. 9 9. From the Recommendations tab, se elect 'Run' to ‘Configure exxisting module e – Powertrain control mod dule' 1 10. Follow all on-screen instructions to complete c this s task. 1 11. Exit the cu urrent session n. 1 12. Disconnec ct the IDS and the Midtron nics Vehicle Power P Supply from the vehicle.
