• The parking aid system does not work.
• One or more of the following DTCs may be logged in parking aid control unit, J446 (address word 10), for
disruption/short circuit to ground:
• DTC 1549 (Supply voltage for parking aid sensor)
• DTC 1626 (Right front parking aid sensor)
• DTC 1627 (Right front center parking aid sensor)
• DTC 1628 (Left front center parking aid sensor)
• DTC 1629 (Left front parking aid sensor)

Technical Background
The wire harness for the parking aid system may have
been damaged when the front license plate frame was
installed (Figure 1).

Not applicable.
Service
Repair the wire harness as necessary.
Warranty
This damage is due to outside influence and is not covered by any Audi warranty.
