Improved PCM software has been introduced in production as of June 25, 2012.
Service
Update programming of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.
• Using a StarMOBILE™ with ElsaWeb and the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures, verify all engine systems are
functioning as designed. If DTC's are present, record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before
proceeding with this bulletin. If the customer describes the Symptom/Condition, or it can be reproduced,
perform the Repair Procedure.
Note:
On some vehicles there are two
updates available.
If there are two updates available, as
shown on this screen (left), ONLY
the 68070462AH software should be
selected and installed.
Installing the wrong software update into the PCM will change the driving characteristics of the vehicle
and can result in a customer complaint.
Selecting the wrong installation of the software is irreversible and will not be covered under warranty.
REPAIR PROCEDURE

voltage to climb above 13.5 volts during the programming process.
If this flash process is interrupted / aborted, the flash should be restarted.
