Mandatory wiTECH Software Update: MY2009 Routan
MY2009 Routan / WIN Control Module (WCM) programing.
To all VW dealer technicians: The WCM replacement parts was recently superseded to the new
supplier Marquardt.
In order to program the new Marquardt WCM, the wiTECH application software must be
updated to V13.04.15. Please review VSE -14-18 on ServiceNet under Workshop-Equipment>
wiTECH/ StarMobile-Diagnostic-Tool> Service-Information > VSE 14-18 wiTECH Software
Installation Instructions and follow procedure.
Reminder: VW Google is Now Available through
vwhub.com
VW Google, a Google-powered portal for searching selected repair information is now
available as a direct link on vwhub.com. Elsa users can now access VW Google by logging into
vwhub.com and clicking the “VW Google” link just under the ElsaPro link.
The new link will be in addition to the button available in the Technical Assistance section of Elsa.
This link will only work for users with access to ElsaPro. Tips: Searching for TB’s in VW Google
Users can find all Technical Bulletins (TB) on VW Google using the following search methods
(The example TB used is “26-12-07 - Ad Blue Filling at Delivery (2031040/1)”):
- Using the TB group number (26-12-07):
Searching by group number allows the user to browse all the TB’s available for that specific
group, like on ServiceNet. There are three ways to use the group search:
A. By repair group # (26)
B. By Repair Group # + Publishing Year (26-12)
C. By Repair Group # + Year + Publishing # (26-12-07)
Example (Repair Group # + Publishing Year):

The customer may report that while the vehicle is in motion, the display on the
Premium 8 radio displays the “Stationary Vehicle” driving mode. This symptom is
often intermittent and can be temporarily resolved by performing a key cycle.
This condition only affects vehicles equipped with Premium 8 radio.
Production Solution: SW 0011 implemented into production in CW 37/14.

For long crank/ difficulty starting with the engine hot: Before replacing any
components for this complaint, drain the fuel from the vehicle and replace with
known good diesel fuel from a reputable source. If the complaint still exists, check
fuel pressure and injector timing.
92-14-04 Rear Washer Jet Leaks / Drips After Use
