Technical Background
Guided Fault Finding (GFF) repair instruction for fault code P13E6 is incorrect. New instruction will be

Service
Note:
If the vehicle has an upcoming state emissions test and this is the only fault present, do not clear this
fault, as it will clear the readiness setting from the vehicle. Many state emissions programs require
readiness to be set. The readiness may be difficult to set depending on driving conditions. If you are
operating in GFF, you may choose to disconnect the diagnostic connector before exiting GFF, as exiting
GFF will clear all fault memories and the readiness.
Fault code P13E6 may be found when reading out the ECM fault memory. DO NOT replace the Pressure Sensing
Glow Plugs for this fault.
This fault will not illuminate the check engine light or cause any drivability issues.
Perform diagnosis of any other faults and return the vehicle to the customer.
