TO: Hyundai Dealership General Managers, Sales Managers, Service Managers, Parts Managers, and Warranty Administrators FROM: Hyundai Motor America DATE: 06/09/16 SUBJECT: Service Campaign TGG – 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.4L A/T Shift Lever Bracket & Manual Lever Replacement (TSB# 16-01-026) Hyundai Motor America is conducting a Service Campaign to replace the shift lever bracket and manual lever on certain 2017 Model Year Santa Fe Sport 2.4L vehicles equipped with automatic transmission. Service Campaign TGG provides a service procedure to replace the shift lever bracket and manual lever assembly. In order to identify only those vehicles affected by Service Campaign TGG, it will be necessary to access Hyundai Motor America’s “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen via WEBDCS before starting the repair. The “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen will identify affected vehicles with an open Service Campaign TGG. A listing of VEHICLES is also located on WEBDCS, SERVICE tab, select INFORMATION, and select UNCOMPLETED CAMPAIGN VIN LISTING – Dealer Stock and Retailed. TSB #16-01-026 is available on Hyundai’s Website as of June 09, 2016. It contains instructions on performing the service and submitting the campaign claim. A shipment of shift cable brackets and manual levers began shipping on June 9th to affected dealers. Additional parts can be ordered from your Facing PDC by providing an applicable Service Campaign TGG VIN. It is IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT A CAMPAIGN CLAIM FOR EACH VEHICLE SERVICED so your dealership can be compensated for your work and Hyundai can maintain accurate records of campaign completions.
