(April 2015)
Certain MACK CXU, and GU trucks equipped with a Cummins engine, and built between
January 1, 2013 and September 28, 2014, may activate an MID 140 SID 250 FMI 9 fault code
and cause an intermittent display of an MIL light. The MID 140 code is due to a message
timeout between the instrument cluster and the engine. Follow the instrument cluster (MID
140) repair and reprogramming steps outlined in this Field Service Bulletin (FSB).
This bulletin does not apply to MACK Trucks Australia.
