SERVICE INFORMATION
The 2017 Q60 is equipped with a power walk-in mechanism for easy access to the rear seats.
NOTE: Refer to the Owner’s Manual, section 2 - Safety — Seats, seat belts and supplemental restraint
system, for walk-in mechanism operation information.
To operate correctly, this system must be initialized.
If the power walk-in mechanism is not operating correctly, perform the initialization procedure on page 2.
NOTE:

Make sure to check operation during PDI, and perform initialization if needed.

Initialization is required if the battery is disconnected or discharged.

INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE
1. Make sure there is nothing in front of the front seat.
2. Make sure the seat is not fully forward.

If it is already fully forward, slide the seat backward a few inches using the slide switch.
3. Pull the seatback lever (1) upward to unlatch the seatback.
4. Tilt the seatback completely forward.
5. Push the seatback switch (2) and allow the seat to move without interruption until stopping on its own in the
fully forward position.
