This makes it difficult to change the seat back reclining position. This may be caused by a return recliner lever knob spring (A) that is too strong. Front seat (Driver side) Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure. Bulletin No: 09-032/16 Last Issued: 05/13/2016 © 2016 Mazda Motor of America, Inc. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Verify customer concern. 2. Remove the front seat side cover (door side) (E). a. Remove seat height adjustment lever (B) by pulling on the inner release tab (C), then slide the lever forward to remove. b. Remove seat recline lever (D) by pulling outward. Discard the seat recline lever. c. Remove seat side cover (E) by pulling outward. 3. Remove the return spring (A) and install a new one. 4. Install the front seat side cover (E) with 2 new clips, seat height adjustment lever (B) and the new recliner lever (D). 5. Verify repair.
