Issue:
Exterior door mirror dip position does not always return to previously set position when
reverse gear is engaged and then changed back to drive.
Cause:
Door Module Software does not allow for the mirror to return back to the previously set
position
Action:
If a customer reports this concern with their vehicle:
1. Download the latest patch file for SDD (DVD146.005.001 or later)
2. Update all four door modules with the latest software
a. Drivers Door Module (DDM)
b. Drivers Rear Door Module (DRDM)
c. Passenger Front Door Module (PDM)
d. Passenger Rear Door Module (PRDM)
3. Test to see if software update has resolved the concern
4. If the concern is not resolved – raise a technical assist case for further diagnosis
