2011-2016MY Isuzu N-Series equipped with 5.2L (4HK1) engine
INFORMATION
Isuzu has developed new parts to be used when replacing the DEF coolant pipe
assembly on N-Series vehicles equipped with the 5.2L 4HK1 engine. In order to install a
new DEF coolant pipe assembly properly, you must use a new bracket and a new clip.
In addition, the old style DEF coolant pipe assembly had a brazed three way joint (see
figure 1), whereas the new style DEF coolant pipe assembly has a compression fitting
three way joint (see figure 2).

The new style DEF Coolant Pipe Assembly requires the installation of a new frame
bracket (see figures 3 and 4).

If the DEF coolant pipe assembly should require replacement, make sure to
order all necessary pieces to install the new pipe assembly properly.
