Customer or Technician may also see the Message ‘A/C System in Hibernation' Condition waiting to wake up’ displayed on the Touch screen Cause: The HVAC system needs to operate automatically which during the first operation then lubricates the A/C Compressor or in the unlikely event, the HVAC system has a concern detected Action: 1. Ensure that the vehicle is in ‘Customer / Normal Mode’ and not in Transport or Manufacturing Mode 2. Start the vehicle and leave it at idle for a minimum of 5 minutes .Cycle ignition to "engine off" and lock vehicle using the key fob. Allow vehicle to sleep undisturbed for 3 minutes start the engine and retest, this will allow the selflubrication routine to complete. 3. If the issue persists, check for signs of A/C gas leaks on the HVAC system, If evidence of a leak is found, Investigate & repair the cause of the leak before recharging the system 4. If required return vehicle to transport/transit mode as necessary.
