Issue: Engine does not crank, DTC U0300 00 logged either in the Body Control Module (BCM), or PowerTrain Control Module (PCM) and
Transmission Control Module (TCM), with Gateway Module (GWM) and various other Electronic Control Units (ECUs) showing as offline
in Network integrity test on Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) machine.
Cause: GWM not transmitting any messages on PowerTrain CAN network, this in turn also prevents other ECUs from waking up.
Action: Recover the vehicle with a battery hard reset, then update the GWM software to the latest available level, using the JLR approved
diagnostic tool with SDD_145.01.001 or later.
