Condition
Some customers may report an illuminated check engine light and the technician may find DTC P0747
and/or P0796 set in the TCM .
Cause
Engineering is currently investigating a solution for unwanted setting of DTC P0747 and P0796..
Service Procedure
DTC P0747 and/or P0796 should be cleared and the vehicle driven in an effort to duplicate DTCP0747 and/or P0796 resetting.
If the DTC's do not reset the vehicle should be returned to the customer.
If DTC P0747 and/or P0796 does reset on the test drive published Service Information diagnostics should be followed.
