MODULE REPLACEMENT
APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINS
2016 Mazda2
2016 CX-3

SERVICE NOTE
If the right-side BSM control module requires replacement for any repair, also replace the left side BSM control
module to complete the radar aiming procedure (it is OK to replace the left BSM alone).
REASON
If the right-side BSM control module is replaced alone, “Automatic Configuration” is not performed due to a program error in the module. Because of this, the required “BSM Radar Aiming” cannot be performed.
“Automatic Configuration” as well as ”BSM Radar Aiming” can be performed, if the left-side BSM control module
is replaced alone or together with the right-side BSM control module.
