Issue:
On a small number of L538 Evoque and L550 Discovery sport vehicles (14 and 15 model year), DTC P0936-64 may be stored in the
TCM.
Cause:
Internal transmission diagnostics have been triggered.
Action:
L550 - Replace the transmission
L538 within VIN range EH792089-FH035650 - Check the status of service action Q450.

If service action Q450 is outstanding – Complete service action and thoroughly test vehicle to validate repair. (If vehicle still exhibits
the same symptom, replace the transmission).

If service action Q450 closed – Replace the transmission.
L538 VIN FH035650 or later - Replace the transmission.
