What is the reason for this notice?
Our records indicate that a PRODUCT UPDATE has not been completed on this vehicle; refer
to the address card for the affected VIN. During manufacturing, the gauge control module
software installed did not meet specification and there are two potential issues:
• The gauge control module adds mileage to the odometer when the OFF mode is
selected (Touring and Elite only).
• The gauge control module loses communication with the HOS or may not transfer the
odometer mileage and maintenance minder information when replacing the gauge
control module.
There is one software update that will repair one or both of the issues affecting your vehicle.
What will Honda do?
Please contact any authorized Honda dealer for an appointment to have your vehicle's gauge
software updated. This work will be done free of charge.
