COMBINATION TSB / SERVICE ACTION:
A/C DISCHARGE HOSE REPLACEMENT (SA267)
This bulletin provides information about the A/C discharge hose replacement on certain 20152016MY Sedona (YP) vehicles produced from March 1, 2015 through March 29, 2016, which
may exhibit a refrigerant leak due to poor heat resistance at the swaging spot of the A/C
discharge hose. Kia is requesting the completion of this Service Action on all affected vehicles.
Before conducting this procedure, verify that the vehicle is included in the list of affected VINs.
For vehicles not on the affected VIN list, but with a customer concern as described above,
perform the procedure outlined in this bulletin and submit a warranty claim per "customer
concern" (Standard TSB) claim information on page 4.
 NOTICE
A Service Action is a repair program without customer notification that is performed
during the warranty period. Any dealer requesting to perform this repair outside the
warranty period will require DPSM approval.
Repair status for a VIN is provided on WebDCS (Service → Warranty Coverage →
Warranty Coverage Inquiry → Campaign Information). Not completed Recall / Service
Action reports are available on WebDCS (Consumer Affairs → Not Completed Recall
→ Recall VIN → Select Report), which includes a list of affected vehicles.
This issue number is SA267.
