Repair instructions
Technical background
On a small number of Vehicles front bumper grilles have been modified to prevent false obstacle warnings from the Park Distance Control (PDC)
system, there is a possibility that the chrome effect finish may have been damaged during modification, this may lead to corrosion in the surrounding
area.
Series solution parts are now available and should be used to replace the hand modified parts currently fitted.
Remedy
Replace the two lower front Grilles – figure 1.
Customer notification
Customers do not need to be notified directly of this Campaign. Please ensure that all affected vehicles are checked and repaired during a service visit.
You should also inform your new and used car sales departments so that the vehicles affected can be checked and if necessary repaired immediately
and not just prior to sale.

If the vehicle is not already listed in the “Repair History” (Elsa Pro) check for the Blue Campaign identification mark on the underside of the service
cover for the Brake Fluid Reservoir – figure 2.

Work
Replace lower front Grilles – item 1 - with new parts – Refer to Repair Group 63 Front Bumper Grilles – To Remove and Fit – figure 1.
