Customer statement / workshop findings
Customers may not be aware fault codes are present.
Fault code B200047: Ctrl. module faulty is detected within a Light Control Module during routine vehicle diagnostic interrogation.
Stored diagnostic trouble codes do not clear with the diagnostic tool.
Headlamp functionality is not affected by the presence of the fault code.

Applicable to electronic control modules:
Address 0029 – Light control left
Address 0039 – Light control right
Vehicles with Light Control software version 0012 and hardware H05 may store a spurious diagnostic trouble code B200047: Ctrl. module faulty within
the relevant control module.
Production change
Revised Light Control Module software introduced from VIN 12389.

Applicable only to vehicles with Light Control software version 0012 and hardware H05 displaying fault code B200047: Ctrl. module faulty – figure 1.
