SIR Light Flashes or Stays on Steady During A Remote Start

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern
When the remote start feature is used to start the vehicle, the SIR (Airbag) light operation in the IPC varies depending on the model year:
2007 - 2009 Model Year: The SIR light will flash for the complete remote start cycle or until the ignition key is turned on
2010 - 2012 Model Year (up to VIN CJ370172): The SIR light will momentarily come on and then turn off.
2012 Model Year (after VIN CJ370172) - 2015 Model Year: The SIR light will stay on steady for the complete remote start cycle or until the ignition key is turned
on.
Recommendation/Instructions
This is normal operation of the IPC during a Remote start. Do not make any repairs to try to fix this concern.
