• One or more of the following DTCs is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01):
• DTC P261A00 (Coolant Pump “B” Control Circuit/Open)
• DTC P261B00 (Coolant Pump “B” Control Circuit Range/Performance)
• DTC P261C00 (Coolant Pump “B” Control Circuit Low)
Technical Background
The continued coolant circulation pump sporadically fails.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
1. Confirm that one or more of the DTCs listed in the Condition are stored.
2. Replace the auxiliary coolant pump (part number 059121012B) with the updated part (part number
06D121601). Use the bracket with part number 06H121079N.
