Technical Background
The noises are caused by the rubber metal bushing of the
control arm (Figure 1). The rubber lib of the rubber metal
mounting rubs on the collar of the inner wishbone sleeve.
The resulting stick-slip effect causes the noise which does
not affect the service life and function of the components.
This is a normal condition.
Note:
Track control arm bushings that are completely cracked
through should be replaced.

The condition described in this TSB is considered normal and does not require repairs. Warranty claims for the
replacement of components may be rejected.
