Workshop findings: The following fault entries are logged individually or in combination in the Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) (address word 0001): DTC P209600 (Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Bank1 Too Lean) DTC P209800 (Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Bank2 Too Lean) Any other fault entries regarding the oxygen sensors before the catalyst that may have been logged before or after the above fault entries should be ignored. After performing a leakage test of the exhaust system, as part of the GFF test, the Guided Fault Finding recommends the replacement of the oxygen sensor before the catalyst, this step should not be completed! Service Replace the oxygen sensor after the catalyst of the affected bank only according to the DTC fault memory. The replacement of the oxygen sensors before the catalyst are not required.
