 Audi recommends using an Audi approved battery charger to prevent excessive battery discharge during inspection
 It is advised to start ODIS with the engine running to enable all 5F Test Plans in GFF and also to ensure SVM sees all control units
during the SVM check vehicle configuration
 Refer to the Special functions tab of ODIS Diagnosis using GFF for the PDI function tests

Transport Mode Deactivation, DTC Check, Set Service

 Verify operation of all interior lights*

 Connect the dealer demo SIM card to verify system connects

 Test drive vehicle applying brakes several times*
 Verify and set language and Measurement Units*
 Verify engine performance and acceleration*
 Verify Voice Activation is operating (if equipped)*
 Verify engine Start-Stop System functionality (if equipped)*
On-Hoist Inspection
 Verify quality of radio reception in AM/FM/SAT bands
 Check steering, boots, brake system, hoses, tires and wheels
for damage
 Verify rear spoiler functionality
 Check underside of vehicle for fluid leaks and loose components
 Inspect wheel bolts for proper torque*
 Verify transmission operation, including shift paddles (if
equipped)
Post-Road Test Inspection
 Install wheel bolt covers*
 Apply Inventory Maintenance Sticker
 Remove hoist access point trim covers (if equipped)*
 Remove transport suspension blocks (follow ELSA instruction)
 Ensure the yellow tire pressure tag is installed on the steering wheel
 Set and store tire pressures for either sold vehicle OR stock
inventory vehicle (See separate “2015 Normal Load Condition Tire Pressure Table” posted on ServiceNet)*
 Install showroom charger to ensure battery remains
charged at all times
Driver Assistance
 Record final mileage and sign checklist
 Interrogate fault memory and print Diagnostic Log
 Activate NAV and follow directions back to dealership (if
equipped)
 Verify all vehicle Head-up Display functionality (if equipped)
