2015-2016 Golf, GTI, Golf R, Sportwagen (MQB chassis
vehicles)- Door Control Module Identification
On 2015 and newer MQB platform vehicles, the Driver Door Control Module -J386- and Front Passenger
Door Control Module -J387- are separated from the Driver Window Regulator Motor -V147- and Front
Passenger Window Regulator Motor -V148-. This information along with a properly followed GFF test plan
is essential for proper diagnosis of concerns with these components. Please refer to repair group 57 in
ELSA for component locations.
