2007-2015 EOS – “Close Boot Lid” Error Displayed in the MFI,
Top Operation Interrupted
February 20, 2015: Update to Model Year.
If the MFI display reads “Close boot lid” and the convertible top operation is interrupted, check the trunk lid
for the concern.
If the trunk is physically shut check MVB 4 in address 46- Comfort for the upper trunk latch and MVB 5 in
address 26-Roof Electronics for the lower pull-down motor micro-switch position.
Keep in mind the upper trunk position determines the pull-motor operation. So, if the upper latch is not
reading correctly, the pull-down will not operate.
