The turn signal indicator lens is inoperative without
any damage from outside influence. Cracks have
formed in the lens and as a result condensation can
be seen behind the lens as shown in Figure 1.

Technical Background
The turn signal lens can crack due to the high amount of tension in the side mirror housing. The tension is due to
improper installation of the mirror at the factory and is not a defect in the mirror housing. Replacing the mirror
housing will not affect this condition.
