Condition
Some customers or technicians may comment on being unable to loosen or tighten the
locking lug nuts due to the key fracturing.
Cause
This may be caused by the keys being improperly heat treated.
Correction
Contact McGard for a replacement key.

have the “Lock I.D. Card” found inside original
packaging.
There are 3 different Master Key Sets. Each MKS has
all the GM key patterns in their category to provide an
elevated level of customer service without the need of
customer’s key. A form is available at their website. An
account will need to be created first.

The supplier McGard will provide replacement keys
under warranty for no charge.
