Technical background Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s) stored in Electronic Control Modules (ECM) 00D4 Roll Control System 1 (Front Axle) and 00D5 Roll Control System 2 (Rear Axle) C124E00: “48V System Fault active” C129600: “Sway stabilisation control module” B200FFE: “Internal Malfunction” Production change . Measure With reference to Electronic Control Modules: 00D4 Roll Control System 1 (Front Axle) 00D5 Roll Control System 2 (Rear Axle) In the event that DTC’s C124E00 or C129600 are stored in either of the two Roll Control System ECM’s, and the opposing Roll Control System ECM has DTC B200FFE stored, the DTC B200FFE should be ignored, any investigative action should focus on the ECM with fault codes C124E00 or C129600. C124E00: “48V System Fault active” –– Symptom 13636352. C129600: “Sway stabilisation control module” – Symptom 12681232. B200FFE: “Internal Malfunction” For example - If ECM 00D4 Roll Control System 1 (Front Axle) contains DTC B200FFE and 00D5 Roll Control System 2 (Rear Axle) contains one or both of the two DTC’s C124E00 or C129600, the Diagnostic Trouble Code contained within 00D4 should be ignored and any investigation should focus on 00D5, and vice versa Note: If a different “Symptom” number is displayed within the fault code this Technical Product Information document is not applicable, in this instance please raise a DISS query and attach a diagnostic log showing the specific fault code and “Symptom” number – figure 1. Figure 1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Work Check the integrity of the 48V connector of the affected Electronic Control Unit, if no abnormality is found with the wiring or connector then continue to replace the affected Electronic Control Unit.
