Valve Stuck Open Or DTC P24F7 - 00, Exhaust Aftertreatment Fuel Air Purge Valve
Stuck Closed - US15 Emissions And Newer
Cause
US15 Model Year ( MY ) and newer chassis may set DTC P24F6 - 00 or P24F7 - 00.
Solution
If Guided Diagnostics ( GD ) results in No Fault Found ( NFF ), check the following:
• Aftertreatment Hydrocarbon Doser air supply line pressure
- Specification is 32 PSI ( 221 kPa )
• Any contamination such as oil or water, restriction or other debris in the AHI purge air
line
- The line should be dry
• Proper coalescing filter installed in the air dryer
- An incorrect filter installed will result in contamination as described above
• Aerated fuel flowing from the AHI module
