Customer may report that the headlight is inoperative and water may be present in the headlight.
The following DTCs may be present:
 DTC B12ECF2 (open circuit/short circuit to B+) Left daytime running lamp and parking lamp LED module
Supply
 DTC B12EDF2 (open circuit/short circuit to B+) Right daytime running lamp and parking lamp LED module

Technical Background
In an effort to gain information on the DTC codes for the vehicles listed above, we are asking that you contact the
Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before replacing any parts. This will assist us in diagnosing any potential
issues with the condition noted above.

No changes to production have been made, as no issue has been identified.

1. Verify the condition- check for
water ingress on the LED
control module (4G0907397R)
(Figure 1).

2. If the vehicle is within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, contact a TAC consultant before
proceeding. Please attach the DTC and diagnostic log to the TAC ticket.
