To: Hyundai Dealership General Managers, Sales Managers, Service Managers, Parts Managers, and Warranty Administrators From: Hyundai Motor America Date: 01/11/2018 Subject: Update Service Campaign T2R – Equus & Genesis Sedan Anchor Pretensioner Label Installation (TSB# 18-01-004) Hyundai Motor America is changing the Genesis sedan applicable model years to 2011-14 for service campaign T2R. Service Campaign T2R provides a service procedure to install warning labels on the front seat belt assemblies on 2011-2016 Equus vehicles and 2011-14 model year Genesis sedans. 2009-10MY Genesis sedan claims for service campaign T2R with repair order dates on or after 1/12/2018 will be rejected. In order to identify only those vehicles affected by Service Campaign T2R, it will be necessary to access Hyundai Motor America’s “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen via WEBDCS before starting the repair. The “Warranty Vehicle Information” screen will identify affected vehicles with an open Service Campaign T2R. A listing of VEHICLES is also located on WEBDCS, SERVICE tab, select INFORMATION, and select UNCOMPLETED CAMPAIGN VIN LISTING – Retailed. TSB# 18-01-004 is available on hyundaitechinfo.com as of January 11, 2018. It contains instructions on performing the service and submitting the campaign claim. It is IMPORTANT TO SUBMIT A CAMPAIGN CLAIM FOR EACH VEHICLE SERVICED so your dealership can be compensated for your work and Hyundai can maintain accurate records of campaign completions.
