CONDITION
Some vehicles may experience a condition in which the LH or RH front door outside molding exhibits
a gap, looseness or separation from the outer door panel.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Please document the following during diagnosis and repair of the vehicle and submit a DPR:
 Overall photograph of affected door.
 Location of gap, looseness or separation between door molding and outer door panel.
- Photograph door with masking tape to mark location of gap and measure distance from
front of door to center of gap location.
 Inspect installation condition of molding retaining clips during disassembly.
- Photograph location of clip(s) damaged or improperly installed into molding and/or outer
door panel. If photo is unavailable, include description of clip installation condition.
- Include measurement of distance from front of door to affected clip(s).
 Inspect double sided tape condition during disassembly.
- Photograph tape condition in affected area for signs of dust or separation of tape.
