RE:
Safety Recall: 2005-10 Odyssey Fuel Pump Module Leak UPDATE
On March 13, 2014 American Honda notified NHTSA of a Stop Sale order and Safety Recall for all 2005-10 Odyssey
vehicles. When the campaign was launched, countermeasure fuel filter sets were not available for order. As of today,
June 5, 2014, the countermeasure fuel filter sets are in stock and available for dealer ordering.
Any used vehicles in dealer stock must be repaired per S/B 14-032, Safety Recall: Odyssey Fuel Pump prior to sale.
Refer to VIN Inquiry status to determine which vehicles in your inventory are affected.
The previously administered procedure of inspecting all vehicles and replacing fuel filter sets as necessary is no longer
valid. From this point forward, all vehicles should be repaired using the countermeasure fuel filter set and procedure
outlined in S/B 14-032. To reflect this change, VIN inquiry links to S/B 14-015 have been expired, and all affected
vehicles, regardless of any repairs made previous to June 5, 2014, will show an open link to S/B 14-032.
In mid-June American Honda will begin notifying customers that parts are available.
As always, be sure to check VIN Inquiry status to ensure a particular vehicle is eligible for this recall.
