Product Quality and Service Support, Quality Compliance Published September 19, 2017 Approved By: Tom Trisdale To: Toyota Dealers in Pennsylvania From: Product Support Division Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. 6565 Headquarters Dr Plano, TX 75024 (469) 292-4000 Limited Service Campaign H0F – Remedy Notice Certain 2005 – 2010 Model Year Tacoma Certain 2007 – 2008 Model Year Tundra Certain 2005 – 2008 Model Year Sequoia Frame Corrosion Resistant Compound (CRC) Application This communication only applies to dealerships located in Pennsylvania. As discussed in our August 28, 2017 Dealer Daily message, dealers in Pennsylvania were required to wait to commence CRC application for the H0F campaign until after expiration of a 15 working-day notification period. Notices regarding the H0F campaign were submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) and Philadelphia Air Management Services (PAMS) on August 25, 2017. Accordingly, the 15-day period has now expired and you may commence offering the CRC applications at your dealership. Your dealership may now begin applying CRCs to eligible vehicles under the H0F campaign, but before you do so please note the following: • The notifications submitted to PADEP, ACHD and PAMS reference specific locations where you are authorized to conduct the CRC applications – either at your dealership’s service facility or a “sublet” location that you previously identified to KPA. A copy of the notification letters, including the list of approved locations is available on http://cleandealer.com/. If this information is not correct, or if your spray location changes, please contact your FTS (Field Technical Specialist) or DSPM (District Service & Parts Manager) immediately to determine if a further notification is required. • Please review the Dealer Information Packet and Technical Instructions carefully before you start applying CRCs and make sure that you understand and can follow all compliance obligations, including the vehicle processing limits and recordkeeping obligations. Go to http://cleandealer.com/ to access on-line versions of the documents that must be maintained in your files and the log that you can use to make a record of your CRC vehicle processing. • You should have received a new set of the Vaupel HSDR 3300 spray guns for use with the H0F campaign. If you still have the old set of spray guns used for prior CRC campaigns in your possession, we recommend that you remove them from your premises so that there is no potential for the old guns to be used. Disposal of the old guns in accordance with all applicable laws would be one acceptable method for removing them from your premises. If you have any questions, please contact your FTS (Field Technical Specialist) or DSPM (District Service & Parts Manager) for assistance. Thank you for your cooperation.
