RATTLE NOISE FROM REAR OF THE VEHICLE
This Pitstop contains information regarding a rattle type noise heard from the rear of the
vehicle when closing a door or trunk on some 2016MY-2018MY vehicles. Customer complaint
may include:

When closing a door, with the window open or closed, there is a rattle noise
heard from the rear of the vehicle.
The noise is coming from the rear air extractors. These plastic air extractors are located at the
left and right rear of the vehicle behind the rear bumper and are designed to vent the cabin
and to release pressure. Do not replace or modify these air extractors, as they are functioning
as designed.
