CONDITION
Vehicle may arrive at the dealer with the charger cable not functioning. In some cases the cable is modified
internally.
NOTE: These types of modifications will void the warranty of the cable and the HV Battery.
RECOMMENDATIONS

Use the following procedure in order to identify if the HV Battery charger cable is modified.
1. Check for the following items or any other obvious signs of cable disassembly, alteration or modification.
 Figure 1 - Lock mechanism was removed and reattached.
 Figure 2 - Connector cover has been removed and then screw tightened more than normal therefore
not flush with cover.
 Figure 3 - All 8 screws on circuit cover may have signs of damage due to use of incompatible tool.
