Some 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit incorrect air temperature from the heating
ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) outlets with DTC B1081:07 in the front controls interface
module (FCIM). This may be due to binding of the blend door in the HVAC housing or binding
between the temperature door actuator and the cam to the temperature door. Replacement of
temperature door actuator and cam driver is recommended if the blend door is not binding. Note that
removal of the cam driver follower from the blend door shaft can result in damage.
