THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS ALSO BEING RELEASED AS RAPID RESPONSE
TRANSMITTAL (RRT) 14-044. ALL APPLICABLE SOLD AND UN-SOLD RRT VIN's
HAVE BEEN LOADED. TO VERIFY THAT THIS RRT SERVICE ACTION IS
APPLICABLE TO THE VEHICLE, USE VIP OR PERFORM A VIN SEARCH IN
TECHCONNECT. ALL REPAIRS ARE REIMBURSABLE WITHIN THE PROVISIONS OF
WARRANTY.
THE wiTECH SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT 14.03 OR HIGHER TO PERFORM THIS
PROCEDURE.

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves a Body Control Module (BCM) Proxi Alignment, for proper operation.

500L
NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before January 28, 2014 (MDH
0128XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may notice that the Odometer is flashing. On further inspection an active
DTC may be found, B10AA-4A- Check Configuration Failed - Incorrect Component
Installed.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH™) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in
TechCONNECT, verify no DTC's are set, other than the one listed above. If DTC's are
present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further
with this bulletin.
If a customer VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair. For all other
customers that describe the symptom/condition or if the technician finds the DTC, perform
the repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. If the vehicle is an unsold unit and still in logistic mode (ship mode) it must put in
customer mode to complete this procedure.
2. Using wiTECH select the BCM icon, and then go to Misc Function and select “Exit
Logistic Mode”.
NOTE: Once the vehicle is taken out of Logistic Mode, it can NOT be put back into
Logistic Mode.
3. Now perform a Proxi Alignment. This routine is also available under BCM, Misc
Functions.
4. Using wiTECH clear any DTCs which may have been set during this procedure.
